About Sarah

Currently residing in Beautiful Central Oregon, Sarah paints daily from her Bend home studio.  She is encouraged and inspired by her husband and 3 sons and their many adventures outdoors:  Skiing, mountain biking, hiking and traveling together.

Artist Statement: 

"Portraits intrigue and fascinate. It is always exciting to discover the moment when the portrait becomes more than just paint and paper; when the eyes connect with the viewer and the subject materializes.  I have created hundreds of portraits in the past few years, and in doing so, I’ve learned to captivate the viewer by enhancing my subject’s features, character, and a snapshot of their emotion. "
